1. Acceptance of Terms:
By booking a tour with VoyagesOntario LLC or using our website (voyagesontario.com), you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy & Cookie Policy, Booking Conditions, and Refund Policy. If you’re booking for a group, you’re responsible for ensuring everyone in your party agrees to these terms.
2. Booking Process:
How to Book: Book online at voyagesontario.com (24/7) or call +1 504-420-8527 (Mon-Fri, 9 AM–5 PM CST). Custom tours? Email [email protected] to tailor your vibe.
Confirmation: You’ll get an email with tour details (dates, itinerary, guide) within 24 hours of booking. Check it and let us know ASAP if anything’s off.
Payments: Pay securely via credit card or PayPal. Tours under $500 CAD require full payment at booking; tours over $500 CAD need a 50% deposit, with the balance due 30 days before the tour starts. Prices are in CAD and include taxes, guides, transport, and some meals (see tour pages for specifics). Extras like souvenirs or optional activities are on you.
3. Cancellations and Refunds:
By You:
Cancel 14+ days before your tour for a full refund (minus a $25 CAD admin fee per person).
Cancel 7–13 days before for a 50% refund (minus a $25 CAD admin fee per person).
Less than 7 days? No refunds, but we’ll try to reschedule (subject to availability and a $50 CAD change fee).
Refunds are processed within 10 business days to your original payment method.
By Us: If we cancel a tour (e.g., due to weather, low bookings, or unforeseen issues), you’ll get a full refund or the option to reschedule for a tour of equal value. We’re not liable for extra costs (like flights or hotels).
No-Shows or Early Departure: No refunds if you miss your tour or leave early. Ensure valid travel documents (e.g., passport, visa) to avoid issues.
Special Circumstances: Medical emergencies or major issues? Contact us with details for a possible refund or credit (case-by-case, documentation may be required).
4. Changes to Bookings or Tours:
By You: Want to switch dates or add people? Contact us 14+ days before your tour (subject to availability). Changes may incur a $50 CAD admin fee per person, plus any price differences.
By Us: We may tweak tours (e.g., itinerary changes due to weather). We’ll notify you ASAP and offer a comparable alternative or a partial refund if the change impacts the tour’s value. Minor changes (e.g., different guide, slight schedule shift) don’t qualify for refunds.
5. Traveler Responsibilities:
Travel Documents: You’re responsible for valid passports, visas, or other documents required for travel to Canada. We’ll send a prep guide with tips!
Health and Fitness: Some tours (e.g., Algonquin Park Trek) require moderate fitness—check tour pages for details. Inform us of health or dietary needs when booking.
Conduct: Be respectful to guides, other travelers, and local communities. We reserve the right to remove anyone disrupting the tour without a refund.
Insurance: We strongly recommend travel insurance for cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost luggage. You’re responsible for any costs from accidents, delays, or personal issues.
6. VoyagesOntario LLC Responsibilities:
We’ll provide tours as described, with qualified guides and safe transport. If we can’t deliver due to unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters, strikes), we’ll offer alternatives or refunds per our Refund Policy.
We’re not liable for delays, cancellations, or issues caused by third parties (e.g., airlines, hotels) or events beyond our control (e.g., weather, political unrest).
7. Liability and Risk:
Assumption of Risk: Tours may involve activities like hiking, kayaking, or boat rides, which carry inherent risks. You participate at your own risk and must follow guide instructions.
Limitation of Liability: VoyagesOntario LLC, its employees, and partners aren’t liable for personal injury, property damage, or losses during tours, except where caused by our gross negligence. Our liability is limited to the tour price.
Third-Party Services: We work with local operators (e.g., guides, hotels) who meet our standards, but we’re not responsible for their actions or failures.
8. Privacy and Data:
We handle your data per our Privacy & Cookie Policy. By booking, you consent to us collecting and using your info (e.g., name, email, payment details) to process bookings and improve our services.
We may share data with trusted partners (e.g., local guides, payment processors) to deliver your tour, but we don’t sell your info.
9. Intellectual Property:
All content on voyagesontario.com (e.g., text, images, tour descriptions) is owned by VoyagesOntario LLC or our partners. You can’t use, copy, or share it without permission.
By sharing photos or reviews with us, you grant VoyagesOntario LLC the right to use them for marketing (e.g., on our site or X), with credit where requested.
10. Force Majeure:
We’re not liable for tour disruptions due to events beyond our control, like natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions. We’ll work to reschedule or refund per our Refund Policy, but extra costs (e.g., flights) are on you.

These terms are governed by the laws of Louisiana, USA. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of New Orleans, LA.
